We are delighted to announce that Emma Wright, head of our Technology, Data and Digital group, has made the top 50 shortlist of the Most Influential Women in UK Tech 2023. Emma is the only private practice lawyer to be included on the list, which recognises the most influential and successful women in the industry. The awards also celebrate the enormous impact nominees have had in helping support and encourage other women in the industry and their efforts to close the gender gap in tech.

The list, compiled by Computer Weekly, aims to make role models in the tech sector more visible and accessible to encourage more women and underrepresented groups to consider a role in the industry, eventually leading to a more diverse and inclusive tech sector.

The top 50 shortlist has been whittled down from more than 650 nominated women by a panel of expert judges. The voting for the overall winner is now open and anyone can nominate Emma or any of the other inspiring women on the shortlist by following this link. The deadline to vote is Thursday 7 September and the winner will be announced at Computer Weekly’s annual diversity in tech event on Wednesday 11 October.
