Harbottle & Lewis has advised on an investment into True Brit Entertainment led by Three Six Zero.
True Brit was founded by Zygi Kamasa, the former chief executive at Marv Studios Group and Lionsgate UK and Europe, where he helped raise financing for more than 50 British films such as Brooklyn and Bend It Like Beckham. It is anticipated that True Brit will co-finance, co-produce and distribute British feature films aiming to invest and release between four to eight British films annually.
The investment was led by global talent management and entertainment company Three Six Zero, which represents a broad collective of global talent including Calvin Harris, WILLOW, Majid Jordan and more.
Commenting on the deal, Charlie Leveque said: “Harbottle’s combined expertise in early-stage investment and in the film and TV sector meant that we were ideally placed to advise and it was a privilege to have accompanied Three Six Zero on this transaction.”
