Naomi Myatt Earnshaw has over 10 years’ experience working in family law. She joined Harbottle & Lewis in 2017 and trained at the firm, qualifying as a solicitor in 2019.
Prior to working at Harbottle & Lewis, Naomi worked as a family paralegal at two well-regarding media-specialism firms as well as a public family law paralegal dealing with cases involving domestic violence and child safety. Naomi regularly draws on her experience training at Harbottle & Lewis to work as part of a larger team, dealing with complicated issues which require the involvement of multiple different areas of specialism.
Naomi specialises in cases involving complex financial assets/arrangements (including companies and businesses, offshore assets and trusts) as well as Schedule 1 cases (financial provision for children of unmarried parents).
She has worked on cases involving high profile clients and works collaboratively with the firm’s media team. She is also used to running cases independently to ensure that clients receive a cost effective service.
- Naomi worked on the reported case of Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum v Princess Haya [2021] EWHC 3480 Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum v Princess Haya [2022] EWFC 16.
- Supporting a client to obtain an excellent result in Schedule 1 proceedings (financial provision for a child) in a case involving complex business assets.
- Working with a vulnerable client experiencing domestic violence to obtain a divorce, final financial order and child arrangements order which protected her/her children from her former partner.
- Working with a client over a number of years to obtain a transfer of residence order following the other parties’ attempts to alienate the parties’ child.
- Working with high profile clients to resolve their family law issues without media attention.
